GPS2Web is a utility that gets latitude and longitude from the GPS, inserts these values into a URL string, and launches Safari with this URL. A user can access information based on their current location. The default URL for GPS2Web accesses the NOAA weather site with the coordinates returned from the iPhone GPS to give you the forecast for your current location. Users can change the URL to another location-aware site, in the System Preferences for GPS2Web. Simply get the URL for another website and replace the latitude and longitude values with %f. GPS2Web inserts the values into the corresponding positions in the URL string, latitude for the first %f and longitude for the second. This app has no warranty, or any way to guarantee that the location is correct, that the values were properly entered, that the URL is correct, or that the website will respond properly!
